Welcome to Cultivate NSW!

We are the peak body for Horticultural Therapy in NSW, bringing together everyone who is interested in health and wellness through gardens and natural environments.

We encourage positive change in people's lives through the use of Social and Therapeutic Horticulture and can show you how to gain the skills for a rewarding career in this emerging field.

We have a wonderful community of members and friends from all backgrounds and with diverse interests.

Come along to a Cultivate Event or Workshop to learn more.  We have a new Events Page where you will find our events in pink and other like-minded community events that we support in green.

There has been no better time to join us as a member - for more information check out our Member Information Page.

Weekly Update

19th August, 2019

Sydney's forecast for Saturday is Sunny and 22 degrees! That means it will be the perfect weather for our AGM and wonderful guest speaker, Katrine. A great chance to learn about a project, hear about our achievements over the past year and to dream big with us for the future. All of our events are great opportunities to meet like-minded people and to be inspired by the benefits of therapeutic horticulture. Find out more and RSVP here.
We are pleased to announce that we will be running three more Introduction to Therapeutic Horticulture Workshops in September and October this year! They will be in Sydney, Newcastle and the Blue Mountains - dates to be advised in our next newsletter. If you didn't get the chance to read it last time, click here for the recap on the latest workshop.
This year's Australian Therapeutic Landscapes Conference is coming up on Friday 20th September, 2019 with pre-conference workshops on Thursday 19th September. The early bird booking rate has been extended, so it's a good time to get your ticket and start planning your trip to Perth!
Finally, click here to listen to Steve Price's interview with Cultivate member Jon Kingston about his work at the Wayside Chapel - a great example of Social and Therapeutic Horticulture in action!
We hope to see you soon,
The Cultivate Team
