Sydney (Panania) Panania Free Rangers Inc

Website

Description:
We are a teeny-tiny not for profit community development org working on various local projects where we use our collective creativity to weave social and therapeutic horticulture into all that we do. We work with kids in schools as garden mentors allowing them to create their own unique spaces in and around the school. We run a fortnightly seeding session with a random group of interested peeps to ensure the seedlings we use in schools are organic and our new 2019 project "Gardening with Gran". Our project locations: Punchbowl Public School, East Hills Girls Public School, Revesby Uniting Church, Chester Hill Community Garden

Alawa (Darwin) Lakeside Drive Community Garden
Lakeside Drive, Alawa (Darwin) NT
Website

Description:
This community garden is an organic permaculture demonstration garden for the tropics. We have been supervising a Work for the Dole program for 3 years. Though not set up as a therapeutic horticultural project it has been one by default. The participants have responded very favourably to working here and interacting with visitors, developing a sense of ownership and pride in their achievements. We look forward to expanding to specific groups.
