Description: In early May, ACGS (Aged Care Gardens Sydney) came together with the staff, residents, & family of St. Basil's Aged Care in Miranda with the goal of brightening up their Dementia Unit Sensory Garden. Using a rainbow paint scheme inspired by Steven Wells, the end result is stunning, bright & brings a load of vibrancy and colour to create a fun and uplifting atmosphere. The process enabled residents to help make their garden a fantastic place to be.

We work with kids in schools as garden mentors allowing them to create their own unique spaces in and around the school. We run a fortnightly seeding session with a random group of interested peeps to ensure the seedlings we use in schools are organic and our new 2019 project "Gardening with Gran".

Description: For community clients, we provide clinical horticultural therapy at a variety of locations including Royal Rehab, in clients’ home or in local community gardens. Our clinical horticultural therapist will work with community clients to address their rehabilitation goals in the garden. Sessions can be conducted on a 1:1 basis or in a group setting.
For our inpatients, the Productive Garden is available to use with any clinician as part of rehabilitation therapy.
