Who is someone you admire, and why?
Ben Quilty, artist. I love the way his landscapes and portraits express deep emotion.
What have been the therapeutic benefits of nature/gardens for yourself?
Being alone or in company in a forest reconnects me to myself.
Name two plants that you love to grow and why?
Anything that hangs out of a basket be it an Epiphyllum or an upside down orchid, I have a tiny garden at home so I like to use all the space.
Where is your favourite place to be in nature?
Deep in a South Coast NSW rainforest.
If you were a tree, what kind would you be, and why?
A huge fig tree dripping in dendrophytes.
Your favourite gardening tool?
My hands, deep in the earth to feel it’s energy.
